Garius Lupus

*Wakes up and stretches smiley - yawn. Sits up and runs a hand through his hair, making it even more dishevelled. Looks around. Sees a big orchid on the carpet, with a group gathered around it. Sees Gord emerge from the jungle with a captive. Does a double take. smiley - bigeyesGets up and walks over to Gord.*

Don't tell me. Her name is Lara Croft.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence

*the carpet accepts Amos quietly, even adjusting itself slightly to handle his unconscious weight*

*orchids immediately begin creeping onto the carpet and up the tether*

Hey, the gobold found another gobold in the woods! That's not good.

*a stray thought enters Lil's mind* I wish someone would beat me.

Gobold Slave (you can call me Gord)

*Looks blankly at GL*

No, her name is IAN. At least, that is what we can call her. She wouldn't tell me her real name, but I.A.N. are her initials, so IAN will do.

I capture her sneaking up on the camp. So far, she has told me nothing, but she has let a few things slip. She was confused when she first saw me and thought I should have been on her side. From that I infer that the Gobolds that are here are somehow connected with whatever group she is with. She also mentioned something about "the One", which leads me to believe that there is some boss, or ruler, or something in overall charge of things. And finally, she said that she is the keeper of great secrets.

On the positive side, she seems to have been alone.

I don't think Ivana is a Gobold. smiley - biggrin

[Tex Hywind] Ugh ... I feel like I'm in some kinda 20th-century sci-fi movie where there's these THINGS swarming all over the place!

Xardion the General Prinny (Mysterious Penguin from the FUTURE!)

[There is the sound, off in the distance, of something, or a group of somethings, going through the underbrush and making no attempt at sounding "quiet." At one point the sound of a comical voice saying "Dood!" is heard.]

Titania (gone for lunch)

*having caught up with the rat-ants*

Hey! Look! There they are!

*is about to shout and wave, but stops herself

*not knowing if they're alone or not*

*starts looking for the best way down to the river*

Garius Lupus

*Looks over at Tex and counts off one finger on his hand. Looks at the place in the jungle where Xardion is making noise and counts off another finger, then looks around for Cham Chan, ready to count off a third finger. Doesn't see Cham Chan and realises that she hasn't been seen or heard for quite some time. Shrugs in reluctant acceptance.*

Witty Moniker

Waits for the judge's decision on substitutions. smiley - winkeye

*Takes out her mini mag-lite, aims at the raft and flashes out "Witty", "Titania" and then "Affy" in Morse code. Repeats.*

Hopefully, that will get their attention. If anyone still remembers Morse code, that is. If this doesn't work, I can try Bubblefish.

Amos the Ranchhand (and Driver)

*dice rattle warningly in the hand of the deus ex machina as YK breaks character count rule*

*rat-ants nod at Titania and scatter up and down the bank to reconnoiter*

Coniraya

*flashing lights catch her eye*

Well it's lucky that some of us didn't stop practising Morse code when it was officially dropped......

*concentrates on reading the da da dips as the orchids appear to be immune to fire*

It's the rest of the Salonistas!

*signals back with the mag light attached to her carameliser..

Approach with caution beware orchids*

Who's this Gord has found?

Your exact words were "Only two personae maximum to the YK account." Xardion is not part of this account, so I had presumed that the two-personae restriction did not apply. smiley - winkeye

Oh, and that was in post 347, by the by.

[Tex Hywind] [thinks furiously] Oh, right, the Salonistas were you guys, with Asteroid Lil. [relaxes, but looks over towards IAN] Hm, she looks kinda pretty ...

Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

*Picks off what he assumes to be the last Orchid from his person.*

*collapses*

Gw7en, Voice of Chaos (Classic)

*a bright light flashes and a confused and disoriented Gw7en steps out and falls to the ground next to Titania*

Titania (gone for lunch)

*notices Gw7en looking just as weak as she's feeling herself*

[Tex Hywind] [looking over at Titania's collapse] Oh bugger. We're in for it now ...

It has also occurred to me that, apart from incidental monsters and personality-free other groups in the same vein as the Rat-Ants, Xardion will be the /only/ character in /that/ account.

applauds the defence counsel's ingenuity but doesn't give much chance for the appeal on a technicality - looks forward to a creative demise coming up smiley - winkeye
