Meanwhile, Back at the Rift
Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.") Posted Feb 28, 2004
*Sees a bright flash of light on the other side of the river.*
What the?
*Plucks another Orchid from his person*
Meanwhile, Back at the Rift
Witty Moniker Posted Feb 28, 2004
*Witty begins to rush over to Titania when the flash of light momentarily blinded her. She rubs her eyes with her fists and tries to focus.*
Gw7en, is that you? Don't tell me... you came through the crisper, didn't you?
*Turns to Titania, gently patting her hand.*
Ti, what's the matter? What's wrong?

I'm slightly annoyed at how my ability to contribute to the story is being discriminated against. I'd've thought that the polite requests in previous situations would be enough, but is it really /worth/ slamming in excessive limitations?

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Feb 28, 2004
Thanks Witty, I'm feeling better now - but for a moment I felt kind of drained, as if something had been taken away... never mind...
Gw7en! Gw7en! Are you OK?

Tex would have a hard time seeing Titania at the moment; she is still with Affi, Witty and now Gw7en on the other side of the river, on a promontory of some sort and presumably behind the crest of said promontory.
Arbitration: having read, belatedly, the thread that parented this adventure, YK will realise that this adventure was originally invitation-only and that it is hosted, therefore somewhat elaborately scripted. YK was in fact accepted but with restrictions. He ought to consider the spirit as well as the letter of the regulations. Bringing in extraneous characters without knowing the script is considered to be plot-wrestling.
Deus ex machina commends YK's creativity and enthusiasm but suggests YK relax and let the pre-existing (but not yet known) plot elements wash over him like art. Some entities have gone to a lot of work to set this up for the benefit of everyone else.
Which will it be, the prinny or the kitten?
Deus ex machina to Gw7en: have your exposition (how you got here) ready.

I'm half-tempted to just decide "the hell with it" and withdraw entirely, so whatever.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Feb 28, 2004
*saw the rhythmic flashing from the other bank, that preceding the bright flash and dug through her backpack until she found her girl scout manual*
*is now wearing a lei of orchids*
*scans the codes , looking up and down from the book as the message repeats*
It's them! It's them! We need to get across the river and pick up Affi, Witty and Titania!

Gw7en, Voice of Chaos (Classic) Posted Feb 29, 2004
*wakes up, groggily. sits up and looks around*
T, Witty, Affi. Where am I exactly? I remember going into the kitchen at the Atelier to make myself a nice salad and then... There was a flash of light as I opened the crisper and I heard a hideous laughter. Suddenly I was here, and feeling quite drained. Say, T, you don't look like you feel much better either...

Gwenitania Posted Feb 29, 2004
*a larger flash of light is seen, a long peel of thunder is heard. the thunder is echoed by an ominous laughter in the distance*

Meanwhile, Back at the Rift
Witty Moniker Posted Feb 29, 2004
*Jumps at the sound of the evil laughter. Turns to Gw7en and starts patting her hand.*
Come on, Gw7en, wake up. I see the raft is moving this way, they will be here to pick us up in a moment.
Meanwhile, Back at the Rift
Gw7en, Voice of Chaos (Classic) Posted Feb 29, 2004
*slowly regains consciousness and blinks*
Thanks, Witty. I don't know what happened there. I don't normally faint like that...
*smiles weakly, then turns to look for the raft*
