Father called me with the news last evening...Mom passed away peacefully at approx 1600 yesterday.
Maybe strange for you to hear..but I haven't really been emoting much at all..today is just like any other day. I do hope the facts will really sink in later and cause some sort of reaction.
I have been considering maybe taking a formal "mourning period"...but I do know that such things can be a hollow way of reacting.
My friends...
I do want to thank you for a great outpouring of support for me and mine these past weeks. Greatly appreciated, and I hope I never forget what you've done!!!

Very sorry to hear that.
Each have their own way to cope with loss, there is no right or wrong, or any way it *should* be done. I'm sure you'll find your way to cope in due time.

There is still much to be done...legal wrangling is a good chance due to no will setup.
I shall do the best I can to be a non-participant in such affairs, as I have not really been a present person in her affairs.
