Yes that's much better – less crowded. I hope you remembered to bring the IIEM over here with you. If so, I'll take an espresso to go. Thanx in advance.

An Asteroid Lil for me please! Hi y'all. Life is good. The air is no longer full of airplanes and it's worth putting CD's on to listen to again. Plus we've had rain and beat back the drought a bit.

Irv, has Mike A sent you anything yet about the DM Float? Be aware I have to make a couple of cosmetic changes to it before it's official.

Nai Hanchi ... Sensei Suzuki told us the name of the Okinawan who first did it, but I've forgotten. Anyway, he said it was a "strong man's kata" that wanted a low center of gravity ... and that it was descended from a bo kata! All these different styles, the karate people are as bad as Baptists when it comes to schisms.

A Majic Tea, please, Irv. If you're there. If not, will you do the honours, IIEM?

Ioreth (on hiatus)

Afternoon, all. Stupid computer being difficult... I'll have a white.

Yesterday I was in Washington DC in a rather large (oh, 10000 people or so) protest against giant corporations and the World Bank and whatnot. It was a whole lot of fun, and I managed not to get arrested. But a whole bunch of my friends did.

And now it is three long days of Passover cleaning...oy. I'll take a glazed donut with that... savor chametz while I can.

Hi Garius & Ioreth,

TDV isn't a giant corporation, is it?

I feel very virtuous because I just mowed the whole lawn. Nothing much nicer than sitting here looking out over the green part of the garden.

I wouldn't call it giant... I hope not, anyway.

Wish I coulda been there to do some protesting.

Looks like this place has been empty for hours.

No, TDV is hardly giant and oppressive.

Do you know, you're all gonna get a play-by-play of Passover? Hope you're excited... And now I'm off to switch the normal dishes and the Passover ones. Hoo boy.

Well, looks like the infrastructure was broken for everybody.
I'll just have a hot chocolate and be off then -- got some homework to do. It's just nice to see that everything is working.

Really.

At camp every morning, years ago, if we finished a carton of milk we would spear it with a fork, hold it up, and shout at the top of our lungs "Dead cow!" And there were always the dead chocolate cows too. Could I get some chocolate milk?

A rare treat: Irving, who before college used to wake up at 6am naturally, is going to bed early this evening because his room mate has gone downstairs! The IIEM is now on, and I will be up with the chickens! (well, not really, but you get my point)
