IIEM, I'd love to have a Mog's Usual.
*sips *
Well... I had a *E disturbs by lurking as Hati type (written by himself...)* I had a Sunday. A quite normal sunday. And I liked it ever so much.

*sips which still seems to be quite warm, perhaps because of the h2g2*
I have a problem. What could possibly be a perfect birthday for my mother?

Interesting... just what I was thinking...
Sorry I haven't been here. Have been ill for a couple of days. Three to be exact. But now I'm back to my happy self, although a little pale and dizzy....
IIEM, make me a nice while I do some cleaning around here..
*Collects empty cups and stacks them in the sink.*
I wonder where Bluebottle is these days. I hate doing the dishes...

[Mog] IIEM, gimme a triple espresso with an extra shot of espresso, and a shot of espresso on the side (with an extra shot of espresso). And make it strong this time.

I almost made it through the weekend without doing anything stupid, until last night... In a weak moment I managed to agree on taking song-lessons with a very famous song-teacher. This was early this summer, at a party with some opera-choir people I happen to know. By now I had completely forgotten.
So last night, he rang me up and I said yes to come on Tuesday at lunchtime, and sing for him.
I, who can't carry a tune in a bucket! Aaaaangst!! Now I have to go and pick a song....
Suggestions will be received with thanks..

Pick a song your familiar with and really like - one that you don't have any difficulty singing along with - doesn't matter whether it's modern or not... also try singing with a finger in one ear to hear your own voice better... *shudders as she doesn't really like her own voice*
IIEM, a café mélange please!
I tried to find the first posting I ever made at the café - and discovered that of 80 postings only the first one shows - the others (including mine) are hidden because they somehow broke the House Rules...
<./>F26140?thread=62824</.>
I also discovered that when I first joined, I simply posted in my journal if I had a question - and people would see it and reply! Thanks Bee for supplying me with the English version of Silmarillion quotes!

Well yes, there's that one.. But maybe.. I think I've still got the klingon drinking song somewhere. Not sure about the melody on that though...

*Back from singing-lesson.*
Starting as usual with a blunder - I was supposed to meet him at a church (St Markus) and I got it mixed up with another church (St Jacob). Well I'm not a bloomin' church-goer am I?!
As it turned out, we never got around to any songs at all.
That didn't really surprise me, because I knew I have to learn how to breathe and use my lower abdomen if I want to make halfway audible sounds in the first place.
So it was more in the Fee- Fi- Fo- category. Witch is hard enough, if you ask me!
The teacher was surprisingly young, in his early forties, and not as scary as I had imagined. (And tall, dark and hansom, not that it matters ....)
New lesson next week.

How could I have forgotten that this place existed?!
Can I have a caffé latté please?
Bumblebee, I'm really curious about this song teacher... Wonder if I know him?
*sips her*

IIEM, latte to go please.
Not sure where though.
Maybe to my home.
Or the library.
So many choices, it's so confusing, and rainy.
