Our old cat, Promise, snored. She was 18 when she died quietly in her sleep. She used to sit up on the back of my chair and sleep. After awhile I'd have to give her a poke to stop the snoring. She'd also curl up right beside our son, Harley's ear while he slept and wake him up with her snoring.

[Mog] Hotspur isn't yet nine, and we expect to have him for another while ... and I expect to have to continue to chase him out from behind my bed.

Cats - gotta love them! Our Cleo is such a brat. She has a water bottle attached to her water bowl, and she knocks it off every once in awhile. Doesn't matter if its full, half-full, or nearly empty. She's figured it out. Pretty bright, but it still makes a mess. She's just so cute, she gets away with lots she shouldn't

We used to have a cat, but the whole family have developed allergy, so after little Bismarck was put down, we stopped having pets alltogether.
That's why I think it's so good to have some live animals in the house again. (And I'm not talking about the in the cellar...)
And now I want to kill some myths:
It's not true that have three second memory.
DO remember and recognize you.
feels pain.
gets lonely.
Yesterday I was half nodding off on the sofa, when I suddently got quite startled by an awful racket! Looking around, I couldn't understand what was makeing that infernal noice!
Then, to my surprise I found that it came from the goldfishbowl!
There, the two little b*****rs were demanding attention, one by making really loud PoPPing noices with bubbles on the surface, and the other were spitting pebbles at the glass, real hard!
Appearently their appetite have returned, with a vengeance!

Oh yes, fish can be characters! Years ago, we kept tropicals, and I learned a lot, not just from reading the authorities, but from watching the fish. I had an huge algae eater that played a game with me of scaring each other. If he saw me coming around the corner by his tank, he's whip around the corner and toss up gravel at the glass. I'd flick the glass with my finger if I caught him resting on the bottom. There was an aequendens curvicep that used to curl up in my palm if I cupped in about 4 inches from the surface of the tank. My angels and discus used to line up at the front of their tank and waggle at me when I came up to the tank to feed them. Talk to them - they respond to the vibrations of your voice through the water.

Thank's for the support Barney! I had the feeling the whole world were laughing at me for this...
And thanks to the [moderator] who *** out whatever b-word I used. I usually do it myself, but I forgot this time.
IIEM a for the entity in the square brackets please.
Now, it's Friday and I've been invited to a costumes party tonight.
I'm not sure if I want to go, and if I go I haven't the foggies of what to wear...

Nonsense! I wouldn't laugh at you Bumblebee, I'd rather laugh with you. Every living being, I've discovered, has a distinct personality, and they all respond to us if we find a way.
please, IIEM. Its real early morning here, and I need an eye-opener.
Its Friday, and a day off for me - I work Sunday to Thursday. Won a coffee mug at work this week, for good production doing surveys. A nice insulated travel mug, and they have good tea there.

Hi, Bee!
Life here is ever so grand actually. Complaining would be unfair. Exept the cold I am having and the lack of coffee everything is just wonderful.
