Looks like the winter has decided to move in for good. Started to snow Saturday morning, continued to snow all Sunday and this morning my the rather steep way to w*rk was covered with slippery ice. I hate this!

I've spent some "nice" time shoveling. Like at 5 am today. I am kinda used that first of all the leaves are supposed to fall and only then the snow comes to stay. This year everything is just upside down. It's even fascinating...
OTOH I wonder how the weather will look like, say in 2 months.

Bee, I understand you perfectly! The snow we got yesterday melted away, and while the roads and pavements were still wet, the temperature dropped - it's been ages since it was as icy as this morning!

I missed the train I usually take, shuffling my feet trying not to fall, and on the commuter train they announced in the loudspeakers before every single stop 'Please be careful when you step out, the platforms are very icy!' Despite the warnings I saw a few people landing on their butts, but I made it! *knocks on wood*

IIEM, give me one of those high-energy, caffeine-guarana-ginseng fruit-tasting non-alcoholic drinks, please!

It looks quite January here, exept the leaves and apples on the trees covered with snow. I don't mind skipping this dark and wet season though. In hope that the spring will start two months earlier too.
