Hi Waiting for the end of the universe? Me too, do you think you'll come back to work on this?
Other reviewers have said that it's not really suitable for the EG as it stands, however it is a good piece and it deserves a bigger audience.

The last section is a bit of a personal observation, but apart from that I think this is just fine.
I'd recommend changing the title to show that it is about the USA (I know the word Mall is a bit of a a give-away 
) and maybe add a little to the last section about how it has been a growth industry.
(has it? I'm not sure but that is the impression I have. Certainly in the one 'mall' I go to here I don't really notice if there are security guards. In the one I go to in the UK I notice them but they aren't really in your face. How noticeable are they in the States? of course, the ones in reflective vests are going to pretty much stand out!)
