Apologies from The Post
Post Team Started conversation May 4, 2006
We would like to apologise this week for an unusually bare issue of <./>ThePost</.>. Circumstances transpired such that we were working short-staffed and under time constraints, meaning that we were not able to upload any new graphics. We apologise to the authors, cartoonists and readers that have been affected by this and assure everyone that we will be resuming normal service next issue.
Thank you for your patience.
EMR

You know how lengthy books such as War and Peace, The Complete works of William Shakespeare and the OED can be said to be lethal if dropped out of window from a great height.
Well, The Complete Works of h2g2Storytime are headin' in that general direction, and the third installment is the longest yet.

Traveller in Time suggestions for making them less lethal
"Put them on a memory stick instead of a mainframe.
Story stays the same the impact at least less lethal. "

I have to send my public apologies to the team for pulling out of my duties at fairly short notice due to being horribly ill. I think this is a cracking issue, especially given the circumstances it was put together under - and the editorial is superb this week too.
again, but also and huge amounts of respect - especially to EMR, who I would imagine has had a rather busy few days.

Thanks, Rich. It would have been better (like with graphics), but I have exams this week and next and have been studying for those as well.
Everyone in this thread who is prepping stuff to send in is strongly urged to do so!

As an Editor-in-Chief I thought you would know patience is a virtue and staff writers, hunched as we are over keyboards up and down this land, are such prima donnas that we can't take any pressure to conform, lest we all go a little strange.
Besides, speaking for my own case, it isn't even written up as a guide entry yet and is miles, nay, several leagues distant from being converted into the appropriate GuideML.
So, to summerise, all in good time.
If however, you fancy re-running the original one-page poster/re-cap I made for our Adventure serial as a teaser you may find it here: A1150002
Clive.

It's struck me that the problem with having a 'Part One' in The Post is that one's committed oneself to writing a Part Two. I should have remembered from the Glasto thing last year!
Notepad here I come...

Thank you everyone for your continued support and contributions.
Reefgirl, you certainly saved from its death throes, so we ought to be thankful to you for that.
