h2g2 Operations Started conversation Nov 15, 2017
As mentioned in another thread, we promised to see what we can share regarding the visitor numbers to h2g2.com. Here's a quick summary of the data for the last month:
93000 unique visitors, of which 18% return visits. 407000 page views i.e. people read 3 to 4 pages on average per visit. 66% of the traffic comes from people who searched the internet for information and found our entries useful.

Thank you for sharing the information very interesting and encouraging. They look quite healthy and the entries are being noticed and the future looks good.
Is looks like the social side could do with a boost somehow.

I remember that a few years ago, the statistics showed huge hits on one particular entry, a collaborative entry which I had been heavily involved with. But then it turned out that most people left the site within 15 seconds of finding this entry.
It was obvious they searched, found it, looked at it, then realised it wasn't what they were looking for. That entry was:
