h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

We are now rolling out a new set of badges for the volunteers. Over the coming days we'll be going through all the volunteer groups making sure that all active volunteers badges are swapped over, and that all former volunteers are properly recognised for their hard work over the years with the new Former Volunteer badges.

Thanks to Artists and Tech for making this happen, and to all Volunteers, past and present.

Just to let the curious know, the first stage of this is underway

All old style badges have now been removed from Pliny, and the new ones are rolling out as we go through the volunteer lists making sure we get everyone the badges they should have!

A badge for nighthoover would be futile anyway since hir PS was nuked from orbit a few years ago.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but will I still have a 25 entry badge. Right now on pliny the only badge I see is a former illustrator badge.

I assume they're still working on them - I haven't got any at the moment myself, former or otherwise.

Yes, all contribution badges will be retained, so you will have that badge Shagbark.

We're in the midst of applying various badges at the moment, so please bear with us. There are not that many volunteers in comparison to the amount of things that need doing. I know that Milla and Pastey were working on this most of the weekend. It's a mammoth task.
