friend of mine is handicapped and has his own parking lot. whenever someone without handicap and/or permit uses his lot he puts a friendly note under the wipers reading 'i see you've taking my parking lot. will you take my handicap as well?'

We're doing the Think Bike campaign in SA at the moment.smiley - biggrin
We even made our own advert and such...

Mixed response from 'cagers' and DoT...but we're pushing the envelope on things like Toll fees. Single motorcycles pay the same toll as 4x4 vans pulling a trailer loaded with 3 quad-bikes! smiley - yikes

I've seen a very effective Think Bike ad on tv here recently. The driver of a car comes to a T junction, he looks right, looks left, then turns left... of course pulling out right in front of a motorcycle that had been coming up from the right. The voice over says Look right, look left, and look right again.

It is the bikers who come around curves at high speed on country lanes that frighten me. Their heads are hanging over into the other lane as they lean with the curve. Stupid.

A ride leader I was riding behind did that one day in right hand bends. (We ride on the left in South Africa) I pointed out that only his tyres were left of the white line - the rest of him - machine, body and skull was on the wrong side! smiley - yikes It took a photo from a pillion rider on a bike behind me to convince him!

Stay left in right handers and stay right in left handers - you see the furthest around the corners...and others can see you sooner! smiley - ok
