I don't know whether Leave or Remain would be a better vote.
If they are honest, neither does anyone else. So since the facts can't help, I'm going to choose my company.

Remain has every living Prime Minister, the Labour Party, the majority of Tories who aren't racist swivel-eyed loons, the Lib Dems (remember them?), Barack Obama, Kofi Annan, the G7, Unite the Union, Asda, M&S, Mars, Tim Berners-Lee, Jeremy Clarkson (yes, I checked...), Bob Geldof, JK Rowling, Gary Kasparov, Ian McKellen, basically all of the NHS, the Royal Society, Peter Higgs (the man with the boson) and Paloma Faith.

Leave has got... the BNP, UKIP, "Respect" (i.e. George Galloway), Duncan Bannatyne, Rupert Murdoch, Theo Paphitis, Michael Gove and Boris Johnson and the bits of the Tories are ARE swivel-eyed racist loons (and ten Labour rebels), Marine LePen (French National Front leader), Geert Wilders (Dutch "Freedom Party" leader), Donald Trump, Aspall Cider, Go Ape, Wetherspoons, David Icke, Julian Assange, Keith Chegwin, Katie Hopkins, Arthur Scargill, The Express, the Mail and the Sunday Sport.

Since you *definitely* don't have enough information to know which vote would be best (just like everyone else)... vote for whichever of those two groups you feel most comfortable in.

That would make a great party political broadcast.

But isn't it frightening that the 2nd group have massive support?

And odd how the front people for the leave campaign has shifted. Initially it seemed to be fronted by Bojo and Govesh*t* and Mr Garage was kept hidden from view. Lately, it seems to be Bojo and Garage who are to the fore.

There was a good article in the Guardian which said, basically, that this referendum was the first opportunity in a generation for the working classes to have their voices heard. Labour have betrayed an abandoned them, so this is literally the only way they can express their dissatisfaction with the political status quo.

The depressing thing is, a vote for Brexit is likely to make working class people's lives *worse*, but at this point they've practically given up caring and ANY change, even for the worse, is better than carrying on as it is. This referendum is their one chance to change something, and they're probably going to use it, even if it hurts them to do so.

What with this and the grim inevitability of President Trump, for the first time in my life I can honestly say I'm really, really not looking forward to next year.

As an expat living in the EU I am probably even more affected by this than those living in the UK, but they have refused us a vote. So we look on helplessly. We would be in the same situation as the Labour silent/ignored majority. Vote against the people who refused us the vote and we vote against those who want to Remain.

They ought to just add the number of expats living in the EU to the Remain votes. Surely there is no one here in Europe who would vote "Leave" - that would be cutting off your nose to spite your face.

But I suppose that is not a very democratic suggestion.

It's a case of chickens coming home to roost..in the original referendum I was asked if I wanted to be part of a Common Market.I and a few others were happy with that.What we didn't realise was we were being signed up to an eventual federation of Europe because we were basically lied to by Heath.
Now my generation have long realised about that lie and are not going to be fooled again.

However having seen the advantages afforded to the ordinary worker within the EU I want to stay.Frankly I think with the way the world is going to hell in a handbasket I'd rather be in a federation of Europe.Especially the way Putin and Russia are behaving about their borders at the moment.

It's not inevitable yet. It is grim though.

I believe President Trump is inevitable.

There are simply too many ways for Clinton's campaign to fail (many of which will be self-inflicted). Her health is suspect, she's literally a suspect in an FBI investigation, and she's the epitome of the bought-and-paid for establishment business-as-usual Washington insider.

Meanwhile at this point I can't think of anything Trump could do that would realistically dent his poll numbers. I think he could go to Capitol Hill a shoot a baby while bumming a Muslim and he'd somehow come out more popular than before, especially if the baby was Mexican and the Muslim didn't enjoy it.

The immigrants will still come its to late to stop that and those that are in the UK already will not be leaving. Its the lets ban golliwogs from Noddy books brigade have weakened the laws and provided such financial support, the immigrants are so much better off in the UK than any other country, and that is no problem as they put more into the UK than they take out, so they will naturally flock here.

To damage the currency in the foreign exchanges in madness exports will well be cheaper so what! Jobs will be lost to immigrants because the native brits wont work for the wages they will except!

House prices are predicted to fall if you have a 90% mortgage that will be tough on a lot of people I believe the rates will go up.

The US has told us they favor us staying in as it is a trade benefit to them as a gateway to the EU. Scotland will apply for EU membership and probably step in to be the US trade link.

There more reasons and there all being called lies and propaganda by the OUT supporters many of whom appear bigoted and overtly racist.

It will end very badly as the obscure politicians who support exit may have the possibly to gain political.

Sadly I've seen video of an expat woman in Spain saying she's going to vote leave cos of the 'bluddy immigrants'

This is not my battle, as I don't live in the UK. If I did live there, Trump's support for leaving would be a deal-breaker.

I can still oppose Trump.

Be thankful you don't have to listen to the endless BOTH sides are peddling.

If it wasn't actually a really important vote I would vote for none of the above.

I will however vote Remain even if their campaign has been almost as much BS as the Brexiters.

There has been so much BS, damnright misinformation (outside politifal circules called lieing I believe), that I'd be tempted to spoil my papper, were it not such an important issue.

And I really hope this was just a random nutter and not actually politically motivated - that would be real back to the dark-ages stuff.

You missed Farrage incidentally - though I suppose he counts in UKIP - but I think he counts more than Kieth Chegwin to be singled out. Did you look that up incidentally? I must have missed Leave wheeling him out as a celeb supporter
