I just love floating there in my mens dressing gown eating some bagels with cream cheese..
Thats some of my favorite breakfast foods.
Lightly toasted...

I had to give up a lot when the doctor told me to reduce my cholesterol. No bacon, no ice cream, no cream cheese. Yogurt is pretty good whether it's made from whole milk or skim milk. Skim-milk cheese is tolerable only if it's sharp cheddar.
I still enjoy a good egg now and then, though.

Ice cream I can do without, but frozen yogurt is just as good. I can get low-fat or even nonfat cream cheese at my local supermarket, but it doesn't taste all that good.
I'm at an age where I have to eat lightly anyway.

Cream cheese on blueberry bagel. Blueberry bagels are rarely available in my neck of the woods though.

I've heard of people who moved away from new York City and then moved back because the bagels elsewhere weren't as goos.

My typos are alive and well, I see. But bagels with goose and cream cheese would probably be very tasty!

Brunel's bagels are clearly better than Goo's.
But a skinny Pliny mini-bagel plastered with Alabaster by Master B takes the...errr....biscuit

Bruegels and Finagle a Bagel are the only bagel chains I can think of off the top of my head. Dunkin Donuts has bagels. There's a small local chain called Cafe Fresh Bagel.
There are some who claim you can't get a good bagel outside of New York City. That seems like nonsense to me. Some people like hard bagels, while others like soft ones. Cafe Fresh bagel has the soft ones I like the most.
