Anyone excited about Neverwhere on the radio?

It was the "stripped" bit I didn't really get, maybe it's a radio broadcasting term I'm unfamiliar with.

Having an enforced day at home today with a poorly doggie, I'm working my way through the rest of the series.

Just Bob aka Robert Thompson, plugging my film blog cinemainferno-blog.blogspot.co.uk

Gaiman and Rankin have a mutual friend in Terry Pratchett, so they may know each other. I'm pretty sure I've read most of Rankin's stuff though, and the Angel Islington wasn't in any of them. Certainly not the Brentford books.

Then I have definitely read Neverhwere, and it didn't make a huge impression. It probably hit me at the wrong time, when I was distracted by other stuff. As I said, I was really struck by American Gods

Mind you, I am so claustrophobic that I'm not good at fiction set underground, and that may have had something to do with it. I didn't like the Narnian book The Silver Chair for that reason.

I might give the radio series another listen.

Ben
