I had a good year again, especially my sporting predictions.
The Groob's predictions:
Spain will win the Euros. CORRECT!
Manchester City will win the Premier League. CORRECT!
The UK summer will be a poor one. CORRECT!
Britain will finish third in the medal table at the Olympics. CORRECT!
The Stone Roses gigs will be a roaring success but the new material won't set the world on fire. CORRECT!
Spielberg will announce plans for another Tintin movie. CORRECT!

England get knocked out at the group stage in the Euros. Barcelona will win the Champions League, having ceded La Liga to Real Madrid by the end of March.
1 out of 3, as Real Madrid had the league sewn up around then. 
Double dip recession in the UK. There will a Tory sex scandal. The Left will still not have a coherent idea to replace neo-liberal economics.

The rate of rising CO2 will increase. Fossil fuel emissions will rise. This year will be one of the top 4 warmest years on record. The IEA will forecast something worse than last year.
Ah, coulda bin 4/4, but it looks like this will be the 9th warmest year on record. Oh well..
Tiger Woods will win a Major.
Total pish.
A fossil found in Africa will further confuse our ideas about human evolution. Chimps will be found to do something we thought only we did.
