smiley - laughsmiley - biggrinsmiley - blush There are a lot of places selling cheese online, but if iI were to get it online it'd probably be one of the gift sets/hampers even though they're a bit pricey for what they are, I guess your paying for the presentation and the company having put together the cheeses from differnt cheese makers smiley - zensmiley - droolsmiley - cheese I'll have to start trying to make up my mind soon; found a case of beer I'll buy too which oughta go down well... hmm maybe get two of them actually smiley - blushsmiley - ale

Well, last year, what with the bad weather and ice after Christmas into the new year, and with the abundant supply of booze despite the poor weather (we can make it to the local shop in twelve foot snow drifts or flooding if we have to, when there is booze in the shop anyhow....) smiley - zen I didn't get back from Christmas last year until towards the end of January smiley - biggrinsmiley - doh This year however, I'm just worried about putting back on the weight I've lost this year, so that will have to be something for me to watch out for smiley - grovelsmiley - stiffdrinksmiley - alesmiley - brrsmiley - ponysmiley - handcuffs

If the cold weather continues it makes sense to keep your 'antifreeze' levels topped up, and there's no better anitfreeze than alcohol! Especially if having to cope with mountainous snow drifts. Plenty of smiley - stiffdrink's and smiley - cake's- a little layer of insulation around the middle just to be on the safe side. If you are really worried about putting the weight all back on, just make sure to eat something not quite defrosted or slightly undercooked and you'll find the weight disappearing in no time!! smiley - erm

<> now that is an incentive! I'm sure if you spend enough money online with a supplier like Laithwaites (other online shops are available) then they'd be more than happy to helicopter the booze in!! smiley - biggrin

I'm sure if we called Mr Patel at our local shop, he'd drive/carry/boat us cigarettes and booze to us, were we not able to get there... and some of his baguettes his whife makes too smiley - drool I think we'll be needing plenty of their baguettes post-Christmas to deal with the mountain of ham and turkey and duck and phesant and beef that we always seem to have at taht point smiley - drool Actually I often think it'd just be easier if my Dad moved house to next door to that* shop there isn't many days when he doesn't go there once or twice or more smiley - snorksmiley - droolsmiley - alesmiley - stiffdrink well at the moment looks like M&S will be bringing the case of wine, some champaign, port and truffles, and other bits, and Beerritz shall be bringing the beer, plus top up supplies from Mr Patel of course, and stil trying to find a little something else, and I need to get a gift for the smiley - dog I think she's the only member of our family who doesn't drink alcochol..... well the nearly 3-year old probably isn't on the beer yet either smiley - dohsmiley - drool mmmm turkey... ham.... sausage rolls.. mince pies (made by my auntie)... pigs in blankets... oranges... choclate biscuits... marshmellow willies hanging on the tree... brazil nuts.... cashoos....beer.... new years eve kebab.... venison stew.... game pies.... sausage rolls.... more sausge rolls... tangerines....whisky.... Rod

Don't forget the Gold, the Frankincense and the Myrrh.

Some myrrh incense too, perhaps - nicotincense?
