Wow!

For those (like me) who had never heard of these before, here is a 3 minute detailed video of its use by an apparently impartial but now enthusiastic consumer.

As far as I can tell they have only been around since Jan 2009 and are not yet available in North America.

Prices appear to be competitive with microwave and toaster type ovens but they seem to offer better moisture retention and lower electrical consumption. Not to mention ease of cleaning.

Must have a look in the stores once the Christmas crowds have dissipated.

Out of interest what is the power consumption of these things? Compared with a newish electric fan oven?

I have a halogen hob and I'm happy with the way that works.
