Dear Ancient Brit,
I would like to know why Happi hippo and I cannot chat on this thread. is it a private thread?
You are getting very bossy with me, and I do not like it. I thought you were a nice gentle male and you are turning into a curmudgeon. (spelling)
If you would prefer me to leave this site then I shall do it. but for your information I have looked up the date that I joined this site and found it.
I joined on the 5th NOVEMBER 2001, which is nearly four years before you. If you want to boot me out do so but |I am really saddened by your intolerance.
Cheer up, my friend, old age comes to all of us. it is no good being cross about it.
Have a happy day.
Christiane

Surely Ancient Brit didn't mean it that way
He may have been worried a bit about the recently growing number of postings moderated for topic drift but obviously we're having an on-topic discussion
let's all have a nice cup of .. if you prefer ..

Hi Niwt - See you've been around h2g2 for 9 odd years.
To claim an h2g2 age of 30 you must have joined when you came of age in real life.
You have every chance of becoming an h2g2 centenarian before you become a real life octogenarian.
May the force go with you.
How many more out there who could become h2g2 octogenarians before they become 50 in real life ?

HI ab82,
How art thou?
I am taking ages to edit as I find I am forgetting to put down so many words, or transposing letters. Must do more brain exercises. Yesterday someone came from one of the International organisations who do market research. I was very flattered/touched because she spent two hours with me, and said she would return next year. That was a sign of earthly hope. !!
It was all about TV logos - horrid things I think!!
Regards
Christiane
