James Blackshaw. He's an acoustic guitarist who does instrumental work that sort of folk, sort of classical, sort of prog, sort of ambient.
First heard his work on the 6music show Freak Zone - http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/freakzone/
Usually worth a listen for interesting ideas, old and new.

Boxer is an exceptional album, a mix of rock & classicall, it's superb. The previous album is good, but not up to this standard,I regret to say, Boxer is an absolute classic. Anne-O-Mally
