for all those at home, or work as well i supose, what jobs should you be doing instead of being on the internet right now? personally I should be walking my dog, doing the washing up, going to the post office to tax my car, vacuuming, revising for my sailing exam and filling in my application for a council house considering my parents are moving away in four months, so far i've made myself a cheese sandwich...well...it's a start.

Many, many, well several years ago, probably about 2000 I think, I did a masters degree. I got the dissatation submitted a few months after the end of the course, as i'd gotten an extension. For about a year my supervisor refused to Email telephone or contact me, and I couldn't contact him. Eventually he looked at it made a couple of suggested and Emailed them to me. I emailed him back the thesis that evenign with said corrections made. Then after many many months he got back to me, and said the dissatation had been sent off for external whatyoucallit. Then middle 2004 well, about June I think, I got a mail with a few more (slightly harder long winded and requireming more effort and work) changes to it that the external bloke had suggested, and I needed to add a few things in it basically. I have, therefore since June, failed to do anything to this. Now, with say a month or two before it has* to be finished done and dusted and sent away and bound etc., etc., etc., I'm still putting off looking at it, much less being bothered to do anythign with it though, I have, managed, today, at great great effort, between bouts of H2G2 and sending/reading Emails and piddling about on the net, to download the copy of the dissatation I was sent as an Email attachment about a year ago, which is the most recent version with a couple* of alterations put in by the people at the university. Who knows, at this rate I might actually have read the thing for the first time in about two years by the end of this month

I should be studying, or getting my fees sorted out at least.

But I have taken an old computer to the local dump instead

Well I've eventually managed to check back thorugh the Emails to find this stuff to do with this masters degree rubbish, and I've actually done a bit of resurch on what I need to write to finish it off I'd forgotten how much I enjoy studying wish I'd done this ages ago

I should be taking my contacts out, getting a face wipe, going to loo, going to bathroom, cooking some pasta, putting something into the oven to go with pasta and eating it, then I should be hootooing or watching telly

I should
start the washing machine and dryer
iron some more for my trip on thursday
pack ironed stuff in suitcase
spend time with the children and husband

I should be relaxing in the bath after a hard day at the offices, and be computer free for half an hour. Thank whatever deity you believe in for pdas with wireless network cards

I'll worry about food later, will probably have the breakfast and lunch I missed through being so busy.

i should be doing practical write ups,assignments, going over last semesters reps meeting minutes in time for tommorrows meeting, cleaning my room and doing some washing

i should also be relaxing in bed and getting some sleep seen as im ill!

I am currently trying to stay relaxed, since I'm not looking forward to the answerphone at work in the morning. I've been at another branch sorting them out this afternoon, no doubt the halfwits at the other branches couldn't be meithered phoning Wigan to get hold of me, and have just left whinging messages. Think I'll just delete them without listening to them
