I believe I've seen one, but from what I have been told it was more likely to have been my guardian angel.

I do, in the sense that if someone dies suddenly, they must go thru an enormous amount of emotions, and i think that can leave an imprint of the world, whether good or bad.

I was once working late in an old building that used to be a stable.
When I suddenly felt a cold chill in the air, like someone had opened a door.
I was in the building on my own ,and I went down stairs to look to see if someone had opened the door , but it was closed
So I thought maybe it was the ghost of a dead horse

That would be a Draught animal?
I don't believe in ghosts as the spiritual presence of a deceased person, but i do believe people see, hear or feel things when they are in a stressful situation. The mind ,as they say, can play tricks.

Well, I won't go so far as to say I believe or disbelieve in ghosts - but I experienced certain things that have so far eluded explanation. Back when I used to spend lunch break alone in my lab (so that I could hog the PC), I used to hear our door opening and closing. The thing is that our doors are designed to close slowly, so if somebody enters, there'll be an interval between the sound of the door opening and the sound of it closing . Well, there was barely any interval between the two sounds all the times I heard them, and I know for a fact that nobody went in and out during that time. It was much later that I discovered my labmates had had similarly strange experiences in the lab (doors suddenly refusing to open, cold spots etc). [shrugs] I don't know, really.

Madbeachcomber, I've done my spring cleaning, does that make me sad? Posted Mar 16, 2005
I've heard things that aren't there, drawers and doors opening and closing in an unocupied room amongst other things , but I realy don't think I've ever seen anything.
In one way I'm glad about that, but in another way, slightly disapointed, but then I'm a terrible coward, so I would probably a mile if I did see something.

What did one ghost say to the other?
"Do you beleive in people."
I beleive in ghosts, and have seen/heard some pretty strange things but nothing that can really be verified.

no, can't say I do.
They may exist, they may not. I can certainly imagine that there is space within what we know of the universe for them to exist, but I don't see any reason to go believing in them.

I heard a lot of noise from the attic once, but was too scared to investigate. When I went up a few weeks later, something had mysteriously deposited a birds nest in the corner. I couldn't explain this, so clearly it must have been a ghost.
