I blame 2legs that the celebrants at A9564942 were NOT caught out by the solstice being on the 22nd this year!

I blame 2legs for knowing a pagan who not only got caught out with the solstice being a day later than usual but tried to claim that they didn't have to celebrate on the day of the solstice itself.

I blame 2legs for my having to work in stead of catching up lost sleep.

I blame 2legs for this evidence that the pagans did not turn up at Stonehenge on the wrong date for the winter solstice:

I blame 2legs for the number of times I've heard Cliff Richard singing about and in the past week, and the fact that Thin Lizzy are now blasting away so I can get that out of my head!

By my definition the winter solstice is when The sun sits within 2 arc-minutes of Declination 23 degrees and 26 minutes South.
The Sun stands at this Declination in 2011 from 19 December through 24 December making it more than a one day event

Every time I buy a nice bottle of Scotlands finest Malt, half of it evaporates before I can drink it.......

I blame 2legs for the overbokings at the restaurant where I intended to take the hatchlings out for dinner tonight. Now I really don't know where to take them

Have them watch 2 adorable American girls so that I can know I'm going out for dinner on my birthday, maybe?

I blame 2legs that babysitting has yet to be arranged... Granted, it's only 2 am, but I would've felt better knowing that we're actually doing something tonight before, well, today

I blame 2legs for boots! (not Boots)

and the fact that they are either too tight in the calf, too high up behind the knee so that they give you bruises when climbing stairs, or have too many decorative bits round the top so that they ladder your tights when you cross your legs.

Blame 2legs for fashion - that's the only reason for wearing such uncomfortable boots.

I balme 2legs for the HUGE servings at the local Indian restaurant where I and the hatchlings had dinner yesterday. I was so stuffed I couldn't eat any kulfi

Furthermore I blame 2legs for the absence of spellcheckers in this conversation.

I blame 2legs for really high winds causing my internet connection to keep being lost.


And also boots that are so tight it is almost impossible to pull them off.

Sit down. Have someone stand over your outstretched leg with their back turned to you. Have them grab the heel of your boot with both hands. Now plant your other foot firmly on their behind and give it a nice, steady push. The boot will come off like magic.
