Compare and contrast...

""a less than impressive witness" whose evidence was "not just inconsistent and inaccurate but also less than candid"

No wonder there were efforts to suppress it.

The Judge was pretty clear about it too.

Does anyone have any idea why Mills was not punished for contempt of court, or even assault? Right in front of the judge this appalling woman emptied an entire jug of water over Macca's solicitor. I simply don't understand why she was not immediately removed from the court room and charged, other than the fact that, as a millionaire, presumably the law doesn't apply to her as it might to, say, a some randomly selected nutjob Geordie slag.

I suppose not wanting her in court at all, ever again would be a good reason. We can only hope she hits on Mohammed Al-Fayed next, that one would run and run (in circles, obviously).

I just read through the entire judgement (I was bored, and with it being the Easter hols for many schools, I don't have much work to do) and the judge really doesn't think much of her, does he?

Macca comes out of it pretty well.

One part I liked was where he said he wasn't going to look into certain issues of conduct, as it would be dealt with in the inevitable libel trials and the possible serious criminal investigation in Heather Mills.

Entertaining stuff, in a voyeuristic sort of way.

I wonder if that lawyer plans to sue her?

For, oh, about £24.3m?

Some couples do appear to deserve each other.

One can only quake in terror of what they could dream up instead of reality between them though.

For £17k a day, I'd saw off my leg with a blunt spoon & wear a skirt.

Lets face it she doesnt have a leg to stand on after this judgement. Her ex PR person said that none of her rants have damaged her public image, which is perhaps why he is her ex PR man.
She has had her snout in the trough and got what she wanted, sadly I don't think we have seen the last of her, but then again according to her she has done so much charity work she simply won't have time to be in lime light, yer right!

When I saw the thread title, my first thought was, 'SoRB's back!'

Do I care?No.

Except that men who marry women half their age get what they deserve.

Did I hear the news right last night?

She demanded a £42k / year wine allowance, but doesn't even drink?

And her tax returns indicate 'no evidence' of *any* charitable donations?

Putting on 'charity' events and so on is a popular way for the super-rich to justify parties.

Claiming a yearly horse riding allowance when she doesn't ride is also dead cheeky!

She sounds to me like someone who's decided what she wants and then has sat down to figure out a way to get it all. She obviously decided that lawyers were not on her side because they probably told her not to lie, which is why she represented herself.

Unfortunately, she went off half-cocked...

If half of the reports of her lies are correct, it sounds like she deserves all the bad publicity. I'm sure Paul's glad to be rid of her.

I feel kina bad for little Beatrice though to grow up with it. What's she gonna think when she's a bit older and hears all about her parents and the way her mum carried on over the divorce?
