Look at this: a perfectly innocent thread derailed by wotsit and it was nothing whatsoever to do with me. My reputation is unfounded!

Suprisingly, if you shave a Panda, you will find it's skin under the fur is also black and white. The suprising thing though, is that the white skin is under the black fur, and vice versa.

The bit round the eyes are actually flying goggles.

Pandas are excellent pilots........unless some numpty has shaved their goggles off.

He's not. Haven't you heard of 33rd Panda Squadron? Flew out of Manston during the second world war in specially adapted Hurricanes. Dropped bamboo bombs.

33rd Panda Squadron were locked in a bitter battle over the channel with the Luftwaffe's Koalas. Eucalyptus and bamboo everywhere. You can still find eucalyptus and bamboo hidden in the cliffs near Pegwell Bay where it was stashed by the locals.
