Which is better- ice cream or Martin Luther King Jr?

Computers
WIB a trip to the dentist OR a trip to the doctor
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 10, 2003
Well computers because you can do more with them I suppose, plus you can still watch things on them. From my view however a computer that automatically knows what you want it to do, and a TV that automatically records programs you want would be a godsend.
Velcro or buckle strap watch?

Cheerful Dragon Posted Aug 10, 2003
Of the two last, trip to the doctor (hate dentists) and Velcro (infinitely adjustable - in theory). Actually, I prefer expanding bracelets for ease of use, but they can be too tight in hot weather.
Dogs or people

Teuchter Posted Aug 10, 2003
dogs - they're a lot simpler to understand

There's TiVo, but it's expensive, complicated and I'm really not even sure which countries it's available to.
Strap, because it doesn't undo as often.
A trip to the doctor, unless you have to strip
WIB The genre of science fiction or comedy?
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 10, 2003
Velcro

Sci-fi comedy! Depends which bits because some examples of both are horrific.
Black or white?
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Teuchter Posted Aug 10, 2003
black or white - really depends on context - prefer white background with black writing. Prefer black on a chessboard.
WIB - frogs or fleas

Arbitrary Which are Betters

Frogs
Eiffel Tower because I've never been to New York.
Fingers or toes?

Teuchter Posted Aug 10, 2003
Eiffel Tower

Arbitrary Which are Betters
J Posted Aug 10, 2003
It really depends on what time zone you're in. It's 4:30 AM here So I'm going to say marinating for me
WIB hot or cold weather?
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 10, 2003
Hitting here because it's still cool and I'm having to do housework.
Hot weather
Smooth or crunchy peanut butter?
Arbitrary Which are Betters
J Posted Aug 10, 2003
Ooh, good one!
Crunchy, obviously. Though your jaw can begin to hurt after a while...
WIB Canoes or Kayaks? (sp?)
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 10, 2003
Crunchy
Kayaks because you don't have to worry about drowning anybody else.
Do you say chicken or hen? That is a sort of which is better...
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Teuchter Posted Aug 10, 2003
Don't know enough about canoes to have an opinion on that one.
Hens are better - because the word describes the female of all bird species. But I quite like chicken too - if it's been ethically reared.smiley
WIB - organic farming or agrochemicals
Arbitrary Which are Betters
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 10, 2003
