Strangest Spam

I consider a day wasted if I don't get someone trying to enlarge my penis... and I've lost count of the number of chances I have missed to buy a pack of 'Iraq's Most Wanted' playing cards, but:
What's the weirdest piece of genuine spam you can remember? I've just had one offering me books by Gilbert White (long dead botanist) and I've no idea why - is he hot all of a sudden?
And no, I don't open the spam, I'm just going by the subject line...

I've had spam to reduce spam, and I've even had 'Get a Free Email account',
I'm so glad Postmaster has a free email blocker. beats Hotmail anyday.

I do sometime consider writing back and saying "Yes! - But how will you enlarge something that doesn't already exist? "

I know someone who actually went and bought the 'Iraq's Most Wanted' playing cards.
Breast enlargement emails always amuse me. Also, the unsubscription link (don't click these, they just confirm your email address as a spam target) is usually something along the lines of "If you already have perfect breasts, click here".
Having said that, I do hate the way these people exploit (and probably in some places create) nonsensical insecurities like that. Especially since the fact that they keep sending them means that some people must be responding. What sort of gullible idiot orders a *pill* for breast enlargement over the internet?

Are you telling me I wasted my money?

The most bizzare spam I get, and I've had several of the same, albeit from different sources:
Septic tank cleaning stuff Almost as good as the spam Emails that contain nothing; no attachment, no message, just a indesphirable title

i get the same 3 spams every day, under a load of different titles and sender names.
1) order viagra/prescription drugs no questions asked
2) enlarge your willy one of which i don't have, or
3) i work for a bank and need to 'rest' some funds in your bank-we can split the profits.
i feel unloved if i don't get at least 10 spams a day now. not that i respond.................

I had an e-mail today addressed to my hotmail address and it was also from my hotmail address, so I opened it and it was SPAM (the usual penis enlargement. I don't even have a penis!) So this means that I can't block this particular name because it's mine. If I do block it I won't get any more e-mails from anybody!
Very clever!

Some loser, fraudster, and criminal is using my old hotmail address as a faked "from" line on their spam, so I'm getting lots of "undeliverable" emails.

So... I haven't had one of the 'septic tank' spams for months and months, then we talk about it here and today I get one.
I smell a rat

It was actually from a website that was selling Viagra that I found the banner advert for h2g2.
I clicked it... and, well, here I am

German Liberal Party. They thanked me for joining a) their party [and in a later e-mail] b) their newsgroup.
I told them to go away in no uncertain terms (three cheers for a law degree ) and they told me that they had "distyped" my e-mail address. Sure ...
A month later I get the newsgroup stuff again. Told them that I thought they'd be able to learn from past mistakes and attached the prior conversation. ... Never heard of them again...
