Right well if no one else is going to confess..
It's a toss up between Wet Wet Wet 'Wishing I was Lucky' and a Spurs FA cup final song!
I cower in shame

Bad singles lurking somewhere in my various cupboards:
LV- Gangstas Paradise (a solo version by the fella who did the chorus on Coolio's version)
Mike Flowers Pops- Don't Cry For Me Argentina
East 17- Stay Another Day
The Spice Girls- 2 Become 1 (although their debut album was quite good)
Wet Wet Wet- Somewhere Somehow
And, as a side issue, what aboput albums? My choice of albums is normally far better than my choice of singles, so the worst one I own is actually by my favourite artist, but is a truly dreadful album. "Blind Before I Stop" by Meat Loaf.
Well either that, ot Timmy Mallet's album that i also own.

I did have a couple of Shed 7 albums and a Gene album. They are pretty cringeworthy.

I was bought a Scat Man John single for my 18th - about 7 years after the single came out. My friend Lotty said it was in the bargain bin in Woolworths and too good to miss. It's a classic.

Debut single "Scatman" reached no.3. Follow-up single, "Sctaman's World" (which I hold to be the superior record) got to no.10

Incidentally, he died later than I thought, in 1999.

Ok, so they were popular but the word 'hits' is an anagram of another word, which the <./>HouseRules</.> wont allow me to post here. Scat is the eating of the anagram of 'hits'.
