I know that he was born in Ripley, but which one? There are four of them.

Somebody told me the answer elsewhere ages ago, but it's buried under a massive conversation.
Anyone have the bottle to tell me here?

Gee, I wonder where Mike got to.

Y'gotta wonder though. He tried four times over
a 4 month period and got no response. I'da been
a little frustrated and disappointed too. But then,
I don't really give a monkey's where the Clap was
born as long as I don't get it.

Mind you 'Ripley' was hot in Alien. And there was even
an h2g2 software upgrade called Ripley sometime after
the Great Vogon Detour (aka Rupert).

I live not far from Ripley, Surrey. It's an attractive village, near Woking.

Other musical acts from the area include The Jam (Paul Weller) and Rick Parfitt from Status Quo. Oh, and the Spice Girls were formed there, too.

Wha..? Oh yeah. Me too!
Yeah, if he'd stuck around I coulda told him when
I finally got he...

No wait, no I couldna. I woulda, but I couldna.
I diddle know. (And diddle care much either.)
But you guys coulda told him, eh.

And now that I know more about some of Ripley's other
famous 'cases' I guess I sorta do care now too.

And someone said he wasn't well lately?
Eric the Clap I mean. smiley - erm

Gotta love Jimi Hendrix on the BBC Sessions CDs.
Getting a bit testy when the BBC presenter asks if
the Experience is trying to 'do Cream'.
And on another occasion doing a cover of a Cream tune,
dedicating it to Eric and the Boys and really screwing it over.

smiley - cheers
