well this is post 401, as in the famous southern Ontario highway. That seems to me to be a bit of an accomplishment for this thread given its unusual title

And I *still* think that, even though it isn't as cruel as hunting, that rhinoceros leaping is not an acceptable sport in these enlightened times.

Ictoan: "I have a horse that needs to be ridden, and I'm going to ride it, plain and simple."
Well, for Alberta news it's better than separatist nuclear submarines, perhaps.

Was a few feet from a rhinoceros on Friday, actually. Skittish things. Can't see well but can smell from quite a distance. I was happy for the cables that kept him away from me. I got to go inside the main fence, though which was nice. Anyone know how to remove rhino dung from white sneakers?
*401* Ach, you ontarioanites and your bleeding freeways.

Oi! They're my favourite New Balance! I've only got two other pairs but these are the ones that are broken in. Nevermind, they are in the washing machine as we speak. (alone!!)
What's up on the wrong side of the country as well as the middle?

Huh?
Well, I don't really know what's going on in the middle other than my own affairs. As for me... I'm a little upset with my boyfriend right now. Thinking maybe he's causing more stress than relieving... I dunno.

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I graduated in 1993 with an engineering degree from Northwestern Uni. (near Chicago) and there were so few women. It made dating much easier ... not that many of the male engineering students were worth dating??
unrelated from the link: "Statistics Canada recently reported that people with university degrees make a lot more money than those without one. " It certainly couldn't have taken them long to figure that out.

Kind of a 'no brainer', huh?

Actually, I remember (dimly) when I was in university that there was a study done of people that started working right out of High School and those who went to University. It found that it took the University Student about two decades to catch up to the High School graduate because of student loans, etc. And now it's far more expensive to go to University.

What??? It's not "free" to go to university in Canada? About how much does it cost per year?
