I would sweep...had I anything *to* sweep . I have carpet everywhere, even in the kitchen; nasty 70s trailer psychedelic sh*t with all the charm of astroturf and none of the pile.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Feb 25, 2003
I won't sweep today, I swept up the bottom of the stair case yesterday, as I removed all the junk that had accumulated there... Seeing the floor, for the first time in quite a while, a sweep was the only solution... I'll mop it but not untill after I've moved all the c**p from teh loft down, and had it taken away, then, and only then, hopefully I can rejoice in having a space at the bottom of teh stairs, which will, hopefully remain clean, and not cluttered by c**p I might hoover tomorrow night, being a devotee, I only ever try to hoover at night

I hoover once a month at best, as that is when the flats are inspected, although they apparently only call in the cleaners (at our expense) if the place gets _really_ dirty.
As for sweeping, I don't think we've even got a broom.

I swept up the sugar I spilt whilst making chocolate bread, but it was only a small patch of floor.
