(One of) Mine is the Chuckles the Clown funeral on the old Mary Tyler Moore show:
"A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants."

Am I the only one old enough to remember the classic moment on Top Of The Pops when Nick Heywood (ex haircut 100) was about to start a song but the backing track started singing before he did! His face was an absolute picture. Will never forget it.

Better was when Dexy's Midnight Runners performed their cover of "JAckie Wilson Said" and the set designer had got confused, and instead of a ten foot picture of soul singer Jackie Wilson behind the band, there was a ten foot picture of the darts player Jocky Wilson.
And my "classic TV moment" was the end of the last episode of Blackadder Goes forth, when they were discussing their hopes and fears, and then they go over the top and get blown up, and the picture fades into the modern day poppy fields, and the show, after 4 series of comedy, spent five minutes as drama. Wonderful.

Yup to the Blackadder one.
My one that always makes me laugh till I cry is in Friends where they're trying to determine the father of Rachel's baby as the owner of the red sweater. Ross picks it up and says "Hey! My sweater! I've been looking for that for about a month!"
Monica and Phoebe catch on instantly and look at each other in horror and gasp simultaneously "Oh my God!".
Joey's face is blank...then realisation slowly creeps over him and his eyes widen and his expression changes almost in slo-mo before he goes "Oh my God!"

that was definitely the highlight of that series of friends, which was possibly the worst series yet, bar the one with Elle McPherson in.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Feb 25, 2003
One of those out-takes they often show at the end of Roseanne:
There's a scene in the episode where Dan is in the bathroom, Roseanne is in bed, and they're having a conversation. Dan walks out of the bathroom, switches off the light, and gets into bed. In the out-take though, it's not Dan that walks out of the bathroom, but Bruce Willis. He gets into bed with Roseanne, who for once in her life is completely dumbfounded

Carson interviewing Arnold Palmer's wife (paraphrased):
C: So how do you get Arnold ready for his game?
W: I usually kiss his balls.
(pause)
C: That must make his putter stand up straight!

Meryl Streep on the BAFTAs the other night, reading out Charlie Kaufman's acceptance for Adaptation, wanted to say 'I would like to thank Spike Jonez' but it came out 'I would like to spank...' class, even better when Stephen Fry at the end offered that he would like to spank everyone

The Dog Psychiatrist episode of Frasier. When Niles and Frasier and Martin are talking and we see the conversation through the dog's eyes and ears and the only legible word is "Eddy" and a few minutes later when Niles and Frasier are talking about pyschiatric matters to Martin and we see the conv. from Martin's eyes/ears and again all is gibberish except the the word "Martin". It makes me roar with laughter every time I see it.

there's too many to mention, but the very last scene from Our Friends in the North, when the 4 friends meet up on the tyne bridge in Newcastle. they go to leave and Geordie (my favourite character) walks across the bridge to the sounds of Oasis' Don't Look Back in Anger ... absolutely perfect telly
In Frazer, there was the one where martin's found all those k-tel gadgets, one of them to warm-up shaving foam, which, of course, explodes in Niles's face - ? i nearly wet myself

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned yet the episode of Only Fools and Horses where Del and Trigger are trying to be cool yuppies in the wine bar to impress some women.
Del says the immortal words "Play it cool, Trig, play it cool" and leans on the bar......but the barman has lifted the top and Del falls right through the hole!!! Craics me up every time.
It's one of the best pieces of acting I have ever seen - how did he do it without trying to break his fall???

Personal favourite TV moment - when the fragrant Pandora Maxwell (wife of Kevin, I think, and daughter-in-law of Robert "the bouncing Czech" Maxwell) warmly greeted her Sunday morning visitors...
Two gentlemen in suits at the front door, surrounded at a discreet distance by TV cameras and photographers, who presumably had been forewarned of what was about to happen: "Knock knock".
Pandora Maxwell (after a short pause, leaning out of an upstairs windown in her nightie and screeching like a harpy): "PISS OFF. We don't get up for an hour." (this was at about 8 am on a Sunday, IIRC, so not exactly the crack of dawn)
Two gentlemen in suits, slightly nonplussed, patiently. "Knock knock."
Pandora Maxwell, tearing the window open again in visible annoyance: "Piss off or I'll call the police."
Two gentlemen in suits, deadpan: "We ARE the police, madam."
The classy lady and her husband immediately and sheepishly let the police in, and a short while later accompanied them to the station to help with their enquiries. Clearly Mrs. Maxwell had assumed that the gentlemen were two of the journos who'd been camped out outside their house since allegations of pensions fraud had been made, and responded accordingly. The fact that she did so in front of a horde of journos and running TV cameras made the moment priceless.

I have to agree with Wulfric on the Frasier one. Also the classic 'astronaut' episode with Daphne's ex-boyfriend.
My classic moment? Count Duckula 'No Sax Please, We're Egyptian' where he meets the two high priests, Humite and Yube.
"The Great One has decreed that the Goddess Upshe shall rise from the dead once again. That is the prophecy of our Sun God."
"Who? Ra?"
"And Upshe rises"
