My "by the time I'm 30" target was to become a Mom

For my 40th I got a tattoo (much less hassle and not quite so painful)

Its a bit late on the tatoo front...

Haven't got time to read backlog - but would make one suggestion:

Be an adult.

I've yet to find an understanble job description of an 'adult yet what's wrong with being eternally 17 anyhow?

Ok, not sure why there is no number 9 but here is the list I made!

1) Go skinny dipping.
Yes, no photographic evidence though MB

2) Make a will.
Aargh, no. Been on my to do list for five blinking years now! *MUST* get a pack and start this weekend.

3) See the aurora borealis.
Yes, from a plane, which was

4) Go to a posh do wearing no knickers.
Yes, but was 31. Was due to a packing mistake and not having the appropriate pants for my outfit.

5) Learn how to apply make-up properly (ie have a make up lesson from a professional)
Yes! Did this just befor emy wedding so was 31.

6) Get fit enough to be able to run 5 miles. (note I only said be able to - not actually do it
Yes. Now, alas, not fit enough any more. Will add this to my things to do before I'm 40 again though.

7) Be on TV.
Yes, but I was 30. Had a whole half hour show dedicated to just me!

8) Have sex outdoors without getting arrested.
Yes, and as a result we have The Boy so was 32 .

10) Have a clandesdine meeting at a hotel for apparently seedy purposes
No, maybe after #2

11) Find my dream home
Sort of. Found a home the gutted it and changed everything so it is now quite close to being my dream home, but unless my lottery numbers come up this is as close as I'll get.

12) Go on a protest march.
Yes, Stop the War.

13) Make a Things to do before I'm 40 list.
Must start this soon so I get longer to try and do things!

14) Have tea at Claridges or the Ritz.
No, maybe this is a better one for my 40 list.

15) Become a mum.
Yes, but was 33.

Not bad, a bit late with most of them but got most of the list cleared!

There's a snag with that kind of list. I have health problems that affect my mobility / ability to do things that require physical effort. Last year we went to Syria "while I still can", only to discover that in some ways it was already too much for me. (Actually, the tour guide reckoned the tour company was trying to pack to much into too short a timescale. From now on, I'll check itineraries very carefully.)

So, I won't be making a list of 'Things to do before I turn XX'. I'll do things as and when I can, if I can. If I can't do them, I'll just have to live with it.
