I did a bungee jump on my 39th..I said I wanted to do it before i was 40 . I've spent the night in jail, danced naked on stage, had sex on the beach, done some travelling, fallen in love more than once,did a parachute jump for charity when I was 27, went on Tiswas in the cage also for charity,been married, lived in "sin",enjoyed my life, what next?...write a book before I am 50 perhaps?

Its too late for me so I will have to live vicariously through you!

Check into a hotel under blatantly made up names. Look shifty when you are checking in and out!

Don't talk to me about assumed names- my parents are Mr. and Mrs. Smith- you have no idea how much trouble they've had over the years- one hotel refused to check them in until they both produced their drivers' licences

You definitely have to do a parachute jump! So great and not scary (even though I am generally afraid of heights).
If poss, get it videoed 'cos the mind finds it difficult to take it in and I've forgotten a lot of it, but always have the tape handy to jog my memory.
What about visit a place you've always wanted to go to but have never been? (this is obviously somewhat dependent on the financial situation!)

Parachucting ain't for me Oh well... I've spent a night in jail overrated I thought Hmm, well, including the jail spell overnight, i managed to have a pretty-much misspent youth I think I'd like to get a job by the time I'm 30 which gives me only a few years in which to do that and a PhD if it occurs meanwhile means that I'll not achieve it I'd like to be able to consider myself as an adult, or grown-up by the time I'm 60 Judging my chances by my father, I've not a hope in hell of that though : Go camping out, in the summer, under the stars I.E., no tent, especially good when its that* point in the summer when you get loads of shooting stars Hmm, I did that a few times in my youth : Travel to Lowestoft; and stand on the cliff top, to see sunrise first in teh whole UK I'e done that a few times too : Play in a rock group... You don't have to be any good or anything... In fact, lack of musical ability is useually considered a plus Smoke a spring onion Write a letter to your MP/Prime minister/the Queen Go on a protest march. Climb a monument in central London. Persuede one of the people on hourse back near downing street, to let you sit on their hourse Run about a big city asking people at random if they are n********** Get on a train at a main station, at random and travel to somewhere by chance Trash a hotel room Shout "the end is neigh" loudly in the center of a high street (you get some strange looks if you do this) sell your soul

Lots of good stuff there, I'll have a think what I want to add to the list.

: There will be so much soon, that it will be a case of "things I want to do before I'm 40" : I don't like setting deadlines for myself though I'd like to do something interesting in the next four years (which would take me to 30) Not sure what... well, I've definatly got to get over to Calafornia within that time, hopefuly a lot sooner

12) Grow a beard?

Why on earth would I want to do that I think it would involve hair transplant surgery, and I'm fairly sure I'd regret it in the long run Ok for chaps I guess...

12) Go on a protest march. Something tells me I might have reason to fairly soon. Mind you my nan didn't do this until she was well into her 70s - she marched in the poll tax protests. She was a frail-looking little old lady with (at the time) 2 broken arms from a fall. She must've been *really* angry...

That might have to go on the '...before I'm 50' list - don't think I have time in the next 349 days to perform acts of great civic worthiness, or provide a lifetime of dedicated service to anything
