It's a two-way pager. Like a mobile but it only has text messaging. I think motorolla tried to bring one out over here and it didn't do very well.

Actually, underwear sounds more convincing. You don't "wear" a mobile phone - just carry one - and I can't imagine that a two way pager would be symptomatic of a rock chick...

Would that be a bra with "two way stretch" fabric?

I think it is one that has detachable straps, you can either wear it as a underwire or add the straps to it. I am basing this on the fact that M&S do a bra called a multiway, which you can wear in lots and lots of ways depending on what sort of top you are wearing.

I can confirm that a two way bra can be either strapless or strapped- no idea whether that's what the song refers to, or what they're like to wear (they don't come in my size )

I have tried to think of a reply to this posting but all I can come up with at the moment is that my mind is boggling. I thought of one thing he could be referring to but I am not sure he will want to be hit there!

Just to clarify, in the video for Shaggys song you see them running around with little texting devices. Also in the RHCP song called By The Way they also use one. For Tony telling the others he's kidnapped. Still, I don't know how you can wear ones. Though I have seen a lot of people with a cell phone around their neck, as if that looks good.
