I'm I right ladies and gentlemen, that those silly continutity things before a programme starts on BBC1 involving the dancers is stupid. Bring back the balloon, showing all the sites of the United Kingdom!!!

I must say I liked the baloon and I love the BBC2 "2"! But I don't watch TV much and I'm not a BBC Licence Payer so my opinion doesn't count.

It took I lot of guts to admit, you don't pay a licence on a BBC website. Yeah, the '2' is great. I like the one where the leader wants to create the domino effect but the first '2' falls the wrong way. So the leader '2' goes into a "what was that" pose!!!

Did I just dream it or was there one of the balloon clips where it popped up from behind some ruined building and knocked the wall over?

I think that was Bremner, Bird and Fortune taking the mick because in the Lock Ness take the balloon looks as though its going to crash into the side of the castle!!!

I can still remember Spitting Image doing a sketch where the BBC2 '2' was in the DG's office demanding that in his new role he should be allowed to have a Stunt Double

And yes, those dancers are really begining to get on my nerves too

, I thought it was just a one off for the world cup or something!!!

Anyway, sod the Balloon I still heark back to the days when there was a spinning globe with a mirror behind it! You know, when it looked like the Earth had a ring like Saturn...

Oh, how dull!!!

My vote is for the dancers and to hell with the balloon, it was beyond its use by date!

The idea is fine. It's the dancers that are rubbish

I love the 2 too.

I liked the balloon, I thought it gave a good idea of the nationwide coverage. Mind you, I was amazed when I saw an article showing how many different clips there were, as I only saw a few of them.

The dance is so so, but not enough variety. I'm tired of seeing the same ones over & over & the music isn't very good. I'd rather have the balloon back.

2 is superb - did anyone see the programme thay did about them?

Love the urban gymnast. But why have a late night version with a naked piano player? Does it serve a purpose other than giving us blokes a nice blimp.

I prefer the balloons, although there is one of the 'dancers' clips that I like. It's the group of women in red leotard and tights (?) standing on one leg gracefully. The only reason I like that one is I know where it was filmed, and it's a place I love - Minack theatre, Porthcurno, Cornwall. It's an open-air theatre (seating capacity 700-ish), built pretty much into the side of a cliff. Plays are performed during the summer by various groups, amateur and professional, and performances are only cancelled if it rains *hard*. It's well worth a visit if you are down near Land's End.

My vote is definitely for the dancers! Although I do love the 2 as well.
