Re: posting 36.
Batman only swoops and glides on occasions...but so does Tom Cruise in MI2, it's hardly a superpower.

Being able to play with the Matrix ala Neo would be very nice...
Alternatively, the ability to teleport would be nice.
But to cap it all would be the ability to channel the One Power. Mmm... addictive saidin... preferably without the taint though, I could do with not going mad. If that's not possible, I'd settle for saidar, even though that's supposed to be for women.
And someone to teach me how to channel it, including all the essentials - moving things around, setting things on fire, putting fires out, Traveling, Skimming, lightning bolts, making trees explode for no readily apparent reason and protecting oneself from the rain.

Enhanced senses I would like As I normally wear glasses, have a very little sense of smell and taste - at least my hearing is better than most...
Flying like Superman would be great too But one question: Why do superheros lift their arms over their heads when flying? Wouldn't there be less air resistance if they had them hanging by the sides?

*steps forward humbly*
I'd just really like to be able to speak every language/utterance of every creature in the universe

A sort of Dr. Doolittle superpower, then. I'd probably get a bit paranoid if I could do that, though.
X-Ray vision has to be the way forward for me - and not just for the dirty uses. Think of the time I'd save looking for my car keys down the back of the sofa cushions.

I'd try out what Manny did in Black Books (Bill Bailey for those who don't know...), and swallow the Little Book of Calm to then give off a Zen-like aura of pure calm.
That would be quite

And *very* Bill Bailey, of course.
