Do liquorice allsorts have names?
Beatrice Started conversation Jan 9, 2006
I can't imagine people on the Bassetts factory going "you know, that pink one with the black bit in the middle" or "the tube with the white coconutty filling all the way down the centre"
So - have they got official names?
And if not, isn't it our duty to invent some

This isn't going to be some dodgy reference to a certain James Bond girl is it?

Yes I thought the speckedly ones with no liquorice were called "spogs" too.

3 posts queued for moderation! How exciting!
I was going to suggest some brain-storming to kick us off, maybe around the black and white colour scheme.
"Zebra cube" for the big one?
"Nun's Roll" for the tube with white centre?
Strawberry Square/ orange square/ chocloate square seems a bit tame.
What else is black and white (and read all over...)

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jan 10, 2006
There are names for some, if not all of them, because Barratts sell some of them individually, but I'm buggered if I can remember what their names are, and a quick web search yesterday didn't get a result.

Hours later .... the postings are still hidden, but we have a brand new hidden one - probably telling us something completely irrelevant and off topic

It was meant as a comment for LS, because she said it was exciting, I was only trying to point out that it was rather boring.
