So what are you?
http://www.politicalcompass.org/
I got
-4.88 economic left/right
-3.79 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian
Which I guess puts me left wing without wanting to be told what to do
Interesting wee site anyhow.
Or even a pinko liberal to some

I seem to remember doing this one before, and finding it skewed towards designating people 'Libertarian'. Certainly not 100% objective.

I came up as:
Economic Left/Right: -2.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.21
and as I consider myself a conservative (note the small c) that is worrying.

As there seem to be two of these threads going*, I thought I'd come over and post on this one as well...
I got -0.88 Economic, -4.87 Social.
Which makes me a centrist economically, but extremely socially libertarian.
I would question that result, as I think that some of the questions show an inherent bias.

Can't remember my numbers, but I appear to be around about the same place as Nelson Mandela!!!
Which, compared with some of the other people mentioned on that graph, is no bad place to be!

Is there ReddyFreddy? I'm surprised there's not five threads. The server went AWOL while I was trying to post this
If it's skewed to libertarianism then that makes one of my work colleagues even *more* of a fascist than he appeared to be...

Well they do display the results graphically but I'll forgive you just this once for not spotting that ()
That makes you an extremely liberal pinko 2legs
I think +10 is the extreme of rightwingness and -10 is the extreme of left wingness
+10 is extreme authoritarianism on the other axis and -10 is extreme libertarianism.

I posted my reply to the wrong thread
I got -6 on the left/right scale, and 0 on the other. Hmm?
I knew I should have stayed in bed today.... haven't done anything right today .

Hmm puts me in about the same place as Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. Though I think some of my econcomic answers were so far off kilter with each other I'm probably a bit more right but still leftish.

I've seen this before, I always turn out to be a pink-shading-to-red extreme liberal. My personal feeling is that I am probably much more neutral than that in reality but the extreme nature of the questions makes it quite difficult to come out with a neutral position.

Oh one of my workmates managed it. He was about +0.1 on the rightwing and 0 for the libertarian/authoritarian thing.
I don't hold this up as the definitive political survey, I just thought it might be something fun to do
