Is Caroline Bone from the Archers radio series Blonde in your mind or Brunette?

Brunette - I always imagined her with collar length, slightly wavey, thick, brown hair.

I've always imagined her to be Brunette as well..

But she's blonde! With variations on a bob. And a nice line in puffa jackets, or whatever the things are called these days.

Well that's how she looks to me.

I always imagined her as a small fieldmouse, on a roller skate, wearing a tiny little hat.

Mrs Paisley says that she is definitely a short haired blonde. Slim, wears expensive classically cut clothes, understated jewellery and expensive perfume. She would not be seen dead in Bridget Jones knickers.

However, Mr Paisley says that she is a brunette. Really skinny with one of those haircuts where mot of the (shortish) hair kind of spirals around the head above the level of the ears. Iam told that this is a undercut bob. Since Mrs Paisley is mostly bald she doesn't know much about hair. I reckon that she wears tweed a lot but not in a frumpy sort of way.

Do you think that she would buy me a new car?

Caroline has always reminded me of my cousin who was very oganised and methodical and a brunette.

One has to ask - surely, whether blonde or brunette, she would have started to go grey by now. Do you think she dyes it to look younger? Or is she growing old gracefully?

Definately brunette, but in recent years this has been supplemented from a bottle. But applied in the most exclusive and discreet Borchester salon. But she's still terribly graceful and tasteful.

Methinks Grundy junior is her secret lovechild - the picture in the attic to her Dorian Gray.

You asked what the character looked like not the actress. BTW Caroline was 22 when she joined The Archers and she was born in 1955 which makes her 47 now and she isn't grey at all.

I think Caroline is naturally ash blonde. When she does go grey it will be a long time before anyone notices.
