I just caught the end of the news, and heard an item about tomato flu. Should I be worried about this? I just ate a product...

>> Ah. I don't think that was the 'news', exactly <<
I once wound someone up by playing "The Day Today" video and saying it was the news...it almost worked!
This seems to be like "The Day Today" but with most of the jokes removed. Although I did like "IBS News"

Nail. Head.
To be honest, I was only half-watching it, but the bits I did pay closer attention to didn't suggest I was missing all that much.

I'm still convinced that the whole Bird Flu thing is a wind-up.

The tomato flue: caused by a metallomatrix visus virus specific to tomatos, names the namely the X 5 TC strain, is totally harmless to humans badgers and small pretty loverly to stroke rabbits etc. However, due to a randome freaky freak nature thinggy the X5 TC has mutated in to the 10CC version of the virus witch is able to infect both humans and hyinas. this is an extremely virylent erson of the virus as it lacks basic hygine and dining skills, and is, for example, unable to eat properly in a resturant. futhermore it is able to kill a dead parront totally dead from about two yarsa, and hs not a single notacible notacle notacble notacible tatoo whith any reference to that woman who does the reiews of wine.

Ale made from hops that have been infected with the deadly tomato flu
If first crossed over somewhere near Weymouth creating the new H15037 strain. Farmers are now hopping mad.

I thought IBS news was really rather funny and the number of actors used!
I particularly liked reading the moving text along the bottom of the screen. V. funny.
