Where can I find some nice friendly girls?

I agree with Nyssabird. Hiking is an excellent way of getting fit, and if you can join a group or club, may be an excellent way of meeting nice friendly girls too. As an added bonus they can't complain you smell sweaty cos so will they.

I beg to differ.
I go hiking with the same group of people (both sexes) every New Year, and I've never pulled one of them.
Not for want of trying, either

Well I never said you're guaranteed to meet nice friendly girls who want to be more than friends... or have I just missed the entire point of the past 1160 postings? Oops...

I have for a while been cycling on an excercise bike which my roommate brought here, apparently to hang his clothes on. I didn't want to be cycling outside untill I was in a bit better condition. I do about 40 minutes with 30 km/h at the moment. Besides that I do situps, about 50 normal ones and 50 side to side. And then play around with the dumbbells, I don't really know what excercises to do with those. So any advice on just what kind of excercises I should do would be appreciated. Keep in mind I'll probably be leaving the country first of october, so too late joining clubs. And the only difference so far is I seem to have gotten stomach muscles, that's always something. Now I just need a stomach

Lie on a bench and hold the dumbells like they're connected with a bar, push them up just like a bench press. Also, with arms extended straght out to your sides, lift them to meet over your chest.
Standing, hold the dumbells at your sides and lift straight out laterally, working your shoulders.
Do a bunch of bicep curls too.

I haven't ploughed all through this thread, so sorry if this has already been suggested. My husband said if he was a teenager & wanting to meet lots of girls he'd take up riding, 'cos that's what loads of young girls do.
Funny, he never did. Nor did I. But how I longed to!

I take it you mean horse-riding....
I can't, anyway, I'm allergic to horses.

Yeah, I don't have any biceps My under arms are bigger than my over arms, because of the bigger bone. That's really all I have, skin and bones.
To me it seems girls in general loose interest in riding when they hit puberty, so doesn't seem like a good idea.

I've heard that taking a college course in motor mechanics is a good way to meet women. As most blokes are too proud / stupid (and yes I do include myself) to admit they don't know their distributor from their oil filter, these courses are often filled with young ladies keen to make sure they don't get ripped off by the nasty man at the garage.
Plus, if it fails then at least you will know how to change your spark plugs

Hello all my darlings!
I've been absent lately, moving around, reordering things, seeing and speaking.
It's nice to see my little conversation is still going strong, if drifting from its original point. Some time back I was asked to write some stories, and I produced the piece that went in the AGG section of the post. Since then I've been distracted and my normally plodding pace of writing was slowed even further. But fret not! For I have finished another short short composition. Here it is for your reading pleasure. A830909

Nothing, it just seemed for five days that nobody would reply. Much relief on my part...
Nyssabird. I don't think I've encountered you before. Are you a new tormenter?
