Try Calc on a PC!
I agree in theory, as sqrt should be ^0.5 and squared is right out as its ^2, but sqrt is a standard function on most calulators, as are sin, cos, tan and their inverses.
So I reckon the rules can be stretched to include them - but adding in another number - by way of a constant - should definitely be out! (unless its extra zero's at the front to make it up to 5 digits, of course - esp in the case of italics).
