Some hideous thumping noise from upstairs that's preventing me from sleeping. Hence I'm here instead of in the World of Dreams.
I'm waiting for the party upstairs to pass out. What I want to know is what are the tutors doing? They're supposed to stop things like that. I mean it's 0215 and according to the Hall Rules it's supposed to be quiet after 2330...
I know it's the penultimate night of term (the last night for quite a few people) but still... I'm supposed to have a 9am lecture in the morning but I doubt I'll make it because I'll be completely unconscious.

Hot Tuna (the group formed by the guitar player from Jefferson Airplane - rare funky jazzy psychedlic riffs- mostly instrumental - classic stuff - I had forgotten all about them these past twenty odd years...)

Nothing, right now - it's nice and quiet here - but within the immediate past:
The soundtrack album to "Iria: Zeiram the Animation." (digital)
Bits of the soundtrack album to "Cowboy Bebop" (digital)
The soundtrack album to "The Man Who Would Be King." (vinyl)
"Delirium: Karma" (CD & cassette)
Some collection of Scots bagpipe music. (vinyl)
Some collection of Supe overtures. (vinyl)
The soundtrack album to "Raiders of the Lost Ark." (vinyl)
"Juno Reactor: Transmissions" (cassette)
Yes, the intersection of a trance/techno mood and a British colonial/WWII daredevils mood. It's been an odd week.
And my @#$% younger brother's been listening to far too much bad dance techno music, and the Monkees. Over and over and over.

Where the torture never stops, from the album, (which I am listening to it on), Zoot Allures. Frank Zappa. I find it relaxing and helpful to study and write whilst Zappa is on, another 27 Zappa albums to listen to after this, and then something different..

Well, from when I was in halls, it was normally the tutors having the parties, and you can’t complain really, university is all about parties, once you’ve done the studying stuff, and what happens at parties, but I won’t mention that here in case there is any non-students around (just a secret for us educated in the wicked-ways of student life, liff, parties and the like)..

The late but very great Kirsty Macoll "Tropical Brainstorm".
One of the most popular albums at our local independent record store. I don't know any one who does not love the album to bits.
