I think....

*GL notices something white sticking out from under a rock near a side passage. He walks over, lifts the rock and pulls out a piece of paper. The paper is intriciately folded and GL has difficulty unfolding it, but when he does, he reads:

"We will be back soon. We are just doing some exploring.

Gord and IAN"

GL returns to the others.*

Hey, look what I found: a Gord-IAN note!

Well, as long as it isn't a *knot*...

Unfortunately, I find myself pronouncing them both the same way at the moment. My subconcious must be trying to fight me again.

*the bot carves away the glop around Red Dog's neck and face, but does not attempt to mess with the scalp*

*the bot finishes and stands up, then rejoins the rest of the squad at the top of the beach*

Hmm that bot made a neat job of unglopping RD

*has recovered from her swoon and now looks with interest at RD's coiffure*

*Joins Lil in examining RD*

Ummm, can you give me anymore info, Lil? I feel really strange?

That is quite a helmet Red Dog has got himself. It needs a little something, though.

*Witty retrieves the tiny paper parasol from the remains of the sand castle. Only one rib is bent, so she straightens it out and places it at a jaunty angle into the slightly gooey glop.*

I think the glop is going to harden up again once it dries out.

And then Red Dog'll have a pretty heavy hat.

Probably wouldn't be too bad, but it might throw his balance out of alignment.

*stalks out of the tunnel and down to the beach. Her eyes are red as if she has been weeping*

*starts to speak then a strange expression crosses her face and she looks around*

I smell strong gobold magic! *She begins to sniff the air and turns toward GDZ*

Merciful Gork!

Merciful Gork? Wasn't that a sitcom starring Robin Williams?

*Hastens out of the tunnel after IAN, but stops short, wringing his hands and looking distraught. Appears about to walk over and address her when she turns and goes over to Zomnker. Sees her reaction and hurries over. Sniffs.*

So, the legend is true!

*looks back and forth, feeling rather like watching a tennis match*

What Gork? What Legend?

What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?

*wonders why Ivana looks as if she has been crying*

*glances over at Gord then immediately averts her eyes and turns away from him*

I have never smelled such strong magic. How did...

*she looks all around, examining each traveller and their accoutrements in turn until her eyes fall on Amosand the staff he is holding*

A gloftock? Is that a gloftock? Have you used it?? Do you know how? *she has been advancing on Amos as she peppers him with questions and now stands before him accusingly* Do you know how to mix a gloftock with gobold magic?

Say yes. I wanna see how this plays out.
