I only came to appreciate the finer points of old people after all my elderly relatives were dead. Appreciation of the elderly comes with maturity, which is such a pity. I would give anything now to be able to listen to my grandfathers tales of his travels to the four corners of the planet or to my grandmothers tales of courting in the alleys of back to back houses in the city. Elderly people should be treasured and reverred unless they are the type that insist I give up my seat to them on buses
