*War looks around with mild disdain*
War: heroes... It looks as if I will be with you so called heroes for now...
=============================================
Name: War. (Anyone seeking to break into song on the subject of his name shall be promply shot.)
Age: N/A - Odds are he doesn't even know.
Species: Errr... Ummm... next question please. (he can pass as human)
Gender: Male.
Description: A surly and often drunken demi-god, War doesn't like people. His dislike occasionally overcomes his trigger finger. It is a peculiarity that he would join the heroes and perhaps trusting him may be unwise. Currently on leave from his normal occupation as Board Member of Horsman Inc, his duties often call him away at unfortunate times. In other words, my schedule is really very busy and three pages of backlog in a scant few hours may discourage my participation to some degree. Standing at just under 6 foot his lean body is clad in nano-biotech armor. Olive skin tone and black hair almost gives the impression of Greek ancestry.
Weapons: His choice of weapons often includes higher end items such as particle weapons but can be as basic as his trusty Maul. He uses magic on a limited basis (far less than his brother Huey).
Special Skills: He's a demi-god. He can be killed, but it isn't suggested as it truly does piss him off. Suprisingly bright for his apparent bulk.
Weakness: Battle rages in his veins. He will often overlook non-violent approaches to a problem and try to just ram that square block through the round hole. He isn't a diplomat. At all. His apparent lack of remorse is nicely accented by his heavy drinking, which coincidently also tends to deter him from completing objectives. Has very little in the way of computer skills, but his battle-suit usually covers for that ignorance.
Why/How: He's bored. Bouncing from realm to realm landed him in the midst of this brewing trouble. Observing that the villians were severely over-staffed he opted to side with the forces of good. This does not often happen in his line of work and how well he will manage in this new role has yet to be seen.
=============================================
His personality and all that are really better suited for the villians, but they seemed over crowded. Also i think he and JJ would do better at eachothers throats than side by side. This work for ya Myst? If not i can create a different character, given a little time of course.

Why is that all the intelligent types are cold, distant, sarcastic, and aloof? Well, at least I'll have a rival now, should be fun.

Myst.
Is the heroes side full up yet? Now that I'm going on here regularly, you can definitely count me in for this quest. If you'll let me in on the heroes side, I'll be a new recruit who uses a gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII. Most people don't know what a gunblade is, but it's just a sword that has a gun somehow built into it. I'll leave out the Renzokuken moves because that would just make things to unbalanced in my favor.
So am I in?

Mystrunner Posted Dec 5, 2002
By no means should you leave out the Renzokuken moves. Just only use them in dire streights.
And yes, you are in. Head over to the heroes' page, and read the backlog.

Sir Stu, The Green Paladin of Feasting and Keeper of the Kitchen for the Knights of h2g2, and the Thingites Posted Dec 6, 2002
"You goddamn kids going of on your adventures. You have no experiace. I am going to go with you guys to keep you alive, and hopefully I won't have to do any fighting...It's been such a long time. I won't say anymore for now."
NAME: Edward Sansinimo (San-ce-nimo)
AGE: 53
DESCRIPTION: Not much is known of Edward's past. He is an enigma. His face and scars tell of a hard life of fighting. His grizzled looks make most anyone intimidated. For being so old, he is surprisingly strong and agile (though his hip acts up once and a while). His body is fairly tall and is very hard and leathery. He has gray hair and a little balding, and a brown eyes that seem dull, from life. He acts seemingly without care for others, but at a closer look one can see a very intelligent individual. No one can see that because Edward drifts in and out of places and people begin to wonder whether he really was actually there.
"You hear me?" "I ain't no hero, I am just hear to keep you alive."

Speaking not as Edward
Is this charecter okay? the grizzled veteran? BTW I still want him to be a hero, but I don't tell Edward, he would deny it. I think his veteraness would allow him to fight with his body only...yet be just as powerful as any person with a gun. Also maybe his veternaness would allow him to sniff out lies and stuff that you would think the guy noir type would do. What do you guys think?

One more thing...I think as being a veteran, nothing is new to Edward...he has seen all the horrors of life and so he can handle any vehicle or weapon, though he doesn't need them.

Ssubnel...took his ball and went home Posted Dec 6, 2002
Hey I want to join, let me know if this works
Name: Buzz "Slider" Nelson
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Description: 6'6" (2 meters) 225 lbs, Dark hair (short, parted on right), short beard, blue eyes. Ex-minor league baseball pitcher who lost his career after an off-season motorcycle accident shattered his left, pitching arm. Athletic, solid hand to hand combat skills, including boxing and wrestling. Skilled driver and pilot, if it has an engine, I can handle it. Has spent the last few years as a professional bodyguard and limo-driver for assorted celebrities and government officials. Always looking for a way into the limelight on his own though.
Skills: hand to hand, evasive and pursuit driving, licensed pilot, mechanic, 93 mph fastball but terrible off-speed stuff, anti-insurgence training, survival school graduate (I can survive in the desert with the clothes on my back), not much for dodging bullets but is trained to take one for the right price. Trivia buff.
Let me know if you need a guy like this.
