I like it, the layout is a lot better, giving all sorts of navigaitional options
I like the way that the more posts page is laid out too
just one thing - the long names don't wrap, and that is a bit of a pain, both in the navigation frame in the fora and in the more posts page
have to explore the expert settings now, but the standard ones are good

Wow!
Hooray!
This is a major improvement in intuitiveness, friendliness and professionality (to use three diffcult words in one sentence, keen).
If I notice anyhting I have further to say, say it I shal, but right now I'm frigin' impressed.
Best site to navigate so far, seeing all the contents generated.

Great. You listened and now we all have what we want. Many thanks.

Jim, I should have said "The preferences button is now there all the time *in classic goo*" - I have no knowledge of the button behaviours in Alabaster

The diff tween goo & 'baster is just skinwise, I believe... not really in buttons, functions and the accent a hungarian speaks in Buda or Pest. Disregard last remark. Therefore, the preferences button skips hops and jumps to where it does whether in goo or 'baster.
Oh and I don't know who actually designed this alabaster skin, but it's marvelous. It's so cool, low-profile-hi-impact and sofistickayhted you would almost take it to the club to impress the ladies: "look what I got..."

I havn't tried it since the upgrade but the goo skin used to be missing a number of buttons which were in the alabaster skin.

All we need now is a Delete Forum Post button! Let's say it only works on forum posts that haven't got any replies.

Come to think of it, the site is kind of a magpie, eh?
Tempting, taunting you to spill your head onto it, and then immediately the fruits of your creativity is of the site, legally not yours no more. Just a thought... you can keep it
many magpies would envy you...

Ah, but what if it IS offensive, and you realize it is, and you want to get rid of it instead of getting into trouble?

Pastey Posted Jul 27, 2000
Then, the quickest way would be to email Peta, Abi or get hold off one of the ACEs to do that for you, just going along to the ACEs page and leaving a message there should suffice, listing the forum number and posting, and then it can be got rid off
