As I'm here I might as well post up the final round of boring games -- Week 11 features UK pre-season friendlies
This week is all American, including a game by our old favourites, Charleston Battery ( YAY!!! )
DC United v San Jose Earthquakes
Columbus Crew v Kansas City Wizards
Chicago Fire v New England Revolution
Dallas Burn v MetroStars
Charleston Battery v Rochester Raging Rhinos
Closing date - 12noon Saturday 19th July.
BTW it's the score after 90 minutes of regular play that counts. Anything the the MLS decide to play in 'overtime' to avoid having a drawn result will be ignored

Two lots? Christ!
Any chance of a couple of Scunthorpe friendlies? We've got a nice line-up pre-season, including a Man Utd XI, Forest and Villa.
And I've already updated A822881

Ok, your game against Forest is on my list
Sadly the Manchester and Villa games are mid week, so not easily incorporated into a list of matches.

This is very handy for me, as I'll be on holiday next week!
DC United 0-2 San Jose Earthquakes (Ching)
Columbus Crew 1-0 Kansas City Wizards (West)
Chicago Fire 1-0 New England Revolution (Razov)
Dallas Burn 2-1 MetroStars (Kreis)
Charleston Battery 2-2 Rochester Raging Rhinos (Commodore)
Another fixture you could include for Week Eleven is Bradford City v Coleraine - a 1:30 kick-off on July 26 as part of our Centenary Tournament.

How about Argyle v West Brom, 2nd August? Should be an interesting one with them just down from the Premiership and we'll have played Charlton a few days earlier... I reckon we can do 'em.

Actually it's rather good that you've come up with that suggestion. In the original list that I worked out a few weeks back, I had both Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday booked in to play friendly matches at home on that Saturday. The opposition? Middlesborough and Newcastle United respectively
Suffice to say the Pigs match has been moved to Friday, and hence is now dropped from my list.

I am very, VERY tempted to ask for a Pools Panel after the farce of the previous two weeks (0 points combined after some sensible guessing), but out of deference to sportsmanship and whatnot, I think I'd better go for the hat-trick.
DC United 1-0 San Jose Earthquakes (Etcheverry)
Columbus Crew 2-1 Kansas City Wizards (McBride)
Chicago Fire 0-1 New England Revolution (Joe Max-Moore, obviously)
Dallas Burn 0-2 MetroStars (Clark)
Charleston Battery 1-0 Rochester Raging Rhinos (Donnelly)
Thank heaven for a reliable website, for once. Even if it doesn't appear to have any league tables on it.

OK, so is anyone else going to post a selection? Or are you just going to ignore it and give Master B his best ever chance of coming up as the weekly winner

For the benefit of those who have trouble reading. The first post includes the phrase, "Closing date - 12noon Saturday 19th July."
Looking at my watch I make that the thick end of 12 hours away!
I despair sometimes, I really do.....
