WEEK THREE
GreyDesk Started conversation May 24, 2003
As I may well be busy later on this weekend, I've decided to stick up the Week Three selections a bit earlier than usual.
This week's trip around the leagues includes visits to Denmark, Spain, Sweden, USA, and in honour of my Mother's recent visit from her homeland across the sea, the Canada/USA A-League.
Esbjerg v FC Midtjylland
Racing Santander v Espanyol
Halmstad v Landskrona
Columbus Crew v Metro Stars
Atlanta Silverbacks v Toronto Lynx
The closing date is 12 noon on Saturday 31st May.
Good luck

There seem to be quite a few MIAs this week
I guess they must all be outdoors enjoying the sunny weather instead of picking a bunch of foreign football teams...
Oh, and by the way, next week's will be the Internationals
WEEK THREE
Number Six Posted May 30, 2003
I'm having a quieter Friday than normal, due to the almost virtual cessation of the British football season...
Hence:
Esbjerg 2-1 FC Midtylland (Thorup)
Racing Santander 2-1 Espanyol (Milosevic)
Halmstad 2-1 Landskrona (Sypniewski)
Columbus Crew 1-1 Metro Stars (Mathis)
Atlanta Silverbacks 1-2 Toronto Lynx (Lucas)
WEEK THREE
GreyDesk Posted May 30, 2003
I had actually already done the picks for you, just not posted them yet. It'll be interesting to see how well you do against blind chance when the results come in
WEEK THREE
Tonto Posted May 30, 2003

As a matter of interest, what would I have got with the pools panel<?>
WEEK THREE
GreyDesk Posted Jun 2, 2003
I'm at 'work' at the moment so I don't have the file to hand. I think it was 4 points - ie not as good as your real selections.

Its not so lovely when you're on the bottom
I *think* its reassuring to know that my predictions are slightly better than a randomn selection
